Copage Independent Reviews & Investigations

CIRI provides expert investigative services and independent panel chairing for performance cases involving behavioural issues, misconduct or non-clinical capability concerns. Where team dynamics are complex and contributing to inefficiency or dysfunction, we also offer tailored conflict resolution and facilitation support.

Experienced leaders recognise when poor performance has or is likely to compromise the delivery of high-quality patient care. 

They know that they will need to understand the context within which the concern has arisen and will need a clear written evidence base and rationale to inform their decision making. Often, internal resources are stretched, and leaders need to look outside their organisation to access the support they need when they need it.

We work with you to provide a flexible and tailor-made approach to support you in reaching a resolution to the concerns raised.

We bring extensive, hands-on experience across NHS primary, community and secondary care, defence medical services and HMP health care settings. Our experience also spans Crown Dependency, and the devolved administrations Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland.

Most recently, we contributed to Northern Ireland Department of Health’s Independent Review Panel established to review the function and fit of Maintaining High Professional Standards in Northern Ireland.
